21st Asian Championship 2011

The 2011 edition of the 21st Asian Championship ended with the Masters event and Malaysia failed to add on to its medal tally of 1 Gold and 3 Silver.

Best placed Malaysian Masters finalist was one of Sarawak's finest and already 2 Silver medalist in this champioship, Jacqueline Jenelee Sijore, finished in 9th place out of 16.

As for the Men's it was not a result they would have wanted to end the championship with as Aaron Kong and Syafiq Ridhwan both finished way below of the 16 finalist.

Nonetheless, Malaysia with 1 Gold from the Men's Trios, 1 Silver from Women's Singles, 1 Silver from Women's Doubles and 1 Silver from Women's Trios, finished 2nd in the overall standings behind Korea and it something we should be very proud of.
