Team Sarawak is now globe-trotting as a team of 5 boys, Bong Kihow, Christopher Tiong, Chong Jun Foo, Daniel Tan Yan Han and Jonathan Ding Sagan, has just gotten on the plane today heading for Manila, Philippines to take part in the 14th PBAP Bevida-Storm International Classics 2011.
The annual tournament is being held at the Pearl Bowling Centre and participants will have to qualify for the finals by accumulating the highest top 24 pinfalls. They will have to bowl 24 games divided over 3 blocks of 8 games and in different oil patterns, long, medium and short.
Our Sarawakian boys will have a chance to pit their skills against international bowlers as this is one of the many favourite tournament in the Asian calender frequent by many pro bowlers. This outing will also serve as an exposure trip as we prepare for the coming 2012 SUKMA in Pahang.
