Chinese New Year is celebrated for 15 days hence the name of the last day of festivities, Chap Goh Mei. "Chap goh" being meaning fifteen and "mei" being night in Chinese hokkien dialect. Chap Goh Mei is usually celebrated like the eve of Chinese New Year where family members gather to have another dinner together.
Having that in mind, we would like to wish one and all a happy Chap Goh Mei and if you are travelling to gather with your family, may you have a safe journey home.
Better slow and late rather than sorry and never.
